Questions I Get Asked About This Recipe
Why do the chocolate chips sink to the bottom of the cake?
If your chocolate chips are sinking to the bottom of the cake, try using mini chocolate chips instead of regular-sized chips. You can also sprinkle some chocolate chips on top of the batter instead of mixing all the chocolate chips in the batter. That way, all the chocolate chips will distribute evenly, and you can enjoy each bite with chocolaty goodness.
How to store Chocolate Chip Loaf cake?
If you want to store the cake, you can keep it in an airtight container for 3 days. You can also put it in the refrigerator to extend the storage time.
If you want to freeze it, plastic wrap the cake after it has cooled down completely. I also cover it in aluminum foil or put it in freezer bags to keep the cake fresh. It can keep up to 3 months in the freezer. Simply thaw it overnight in the refrigerator or microwave it before eating.
